Look, if you're a human being who is easily offended, this is likely not the book for you. Dogs may also wish to give it a wide birth.

That caution out of the way, this book is hilarious! I actually snort laughed.

The MC clearly believes in equality - everyone and everything has the ability of annoying Candice (pronounced Candiss!). She speaks her mind which is sharp as a blade. But how wonderful to see such openness (so long as it's not directed at me).

Being the mother of two boys, and wife to a distracted husband is not easy. If you were then also surrounded by idiots, I bet you'd end up like her too. There were times when I could absolutely sympathise.

This is a self-titled litcom. Written in a series of episodes. Vaguely reminiscent of farces such as One Foot in the Grave.

There is a whole host of marvellous characters, and many unfortunate events.

What you get is a more realistic, view of British life. Albeit seen through a sceptical lens.

Definitely worth a read if you need a laugh.

Always in love and light,
TL
